The Downtown Vacaville Business Improvement District (BID) is following the Main Street America approach to downtown revitalization. Downtown Vacaville enriches our community by supporting the vibrant economic activity of over 450 businesses across various industries and hosting community-centric local events. We are dedicated to preserving our rich history while driving economic growth and revitalization to ensure a balanced focus on preservation-based development and modern enhancements.

She’s being joined by three awesome students from the Buckingham Collegiate Charter Academy Art Program, who are getting hands-on experience helping to paint this beautiful addition to our city!

Honoring Vacaville’s Hispanic heritage and the early settlers who dry-farmed and celebrated harvest in the area throughout the 1800s, into the early 1900s!
”The particular project honors Vacaville’s rich history through a hand-painted cow, depicting its roots in dry farming and the vibrant Fiesta celebration. One side features the landscape and peach orchards that shaped the town, while the other showcases cultural festivities and the contributions of pioneers like Leonard W. Buck.”
