Winter WonderWalk

Festival of Trees welcomes their first-ever Winter WonderWalk, offering a magical tour of themed Holiday Trees up for auction in Downtown Vacaville storefronts.

On Thursday, December 2nd from 5-8PM, Downtown Vacaville and Festival of Trees will host the first-ever Winter WonderWalk benefiting Opportunity House. It’s a chance for the public to experience the beauty and magic of the Festival of Trees while strolling Downtown Vacaville for the Holiday season.

Beginning on November 15, 2021, the Vacaville Festival of Trees will showcase fully decorated themed trees and wreaths in various storefronts throughout Vacaville. Over 30 trees can be seen citywide with more than 20 trees on display in the windows of downtown Vacaville businesses.

For many, the Vacaville Festival of Trees celebration signals the start of the holiday season. Dozens of fully decorated large and small themed Christmas trees, many of which include gifts & gift cards, are donated by businesses and organizations in the community and placed on a public virtual auction. In early December, at the close of the virtual auction, the trees are delivered to the highest bidder, in plenty of time for the winning bidders to enjoy their tree and gifts during the Christmas season.

The Vacaville Festival of Trees is the premier annual benefit for Opportunity House, whose mission is to break the cycle of homelessness for women, men, families, and transitional age youth in Solano County.

Participating storefronts include: McGuire Realty, Solano Mortgage, Jackson Medical Supply, La Borgata Italian Deli, Case Electric, Tasaris Le Salon, School of Rock, Chamber of Commerce, Edward Jones (Davis Street Location), Always Best Care, Old Republic Title, Znapfly, Hank & Hazels, Stems, Realty ONE Group Fox, Jon Edwards Salon, Journey Downtown, Joyful Art Studio, Willard’s Dry Cleaners, Mäksē, Umpqua Bank and Bank of the West.

While you sip and stroll the streets of Downtown, the Kairos Choir and Community Presbyterian Bell Ringers will be performing in Town Square next to the Festival of Treats Holiday Bake Shoppe where homemade goodies will be available to purchase. The Will C Wood Sylvan Singers will be caroling up and down Main Street and Santa will be on hand to pose for festive photos inside Downtown Journey.

Tickets are $20/per person (must be 21+) and include a souvenir wine glass. $10 tickets are available for those under 21 or Designated Drivers and include a souvenir mug full of Hot Chocolate. Some locations will also be offering complimentary beverages, lite bites, open houses and festive cheer.  Check in / Registration will be at Town Square, located where Main meets Merchant street.

Tickets are available online at DowntownVacaville.com, in person at 313 Parker Street M-F 9-6PM, via phone at 707-451-2100 and will be available for purchase the night of the event while supplies last. This event is rain or shine!
